The American Arbitration Association is looking for a part-time Intern in our International Center for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) division. Working in our New York Headquarters and reporting to the Vice President of ICDR, the ICDR Intern will provide assistance to International Case Counsel whose responsibility it is to provide high-level case management services to all clients on international arbitration and mediation cases.
This is a full-time 3-month internship (37.5 hours per week) paying $20 / hour.
The ICDR Intern will be primarily responsible for completing case management tasks as assigned by ICDR Case Counsel and Team Leaders, manage specific case tasks in a manner that ensures consistency, and for maintaining case information in accordance with prescribed standards.
Education – BA or BS; Current Law School Students or recent Law Graduates preferred
Technology – Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel and additional Office suite programs
Language – Fluent in Spoken and Written English
Skills – Attention to Detail; Dependable; Able to Work Independently
Must be able to legally work in the USA
